We Support Tempe AZ Police Department

In light of the events in Tempe, Arizona on Independence Day 2019, we’re reaching out to Tempe Police Department and sending a case of Thin Blue Line coffee.

Thin Blue Line in all it’s glory…a little taste of the coffee and swag that was sent.

I can admit, in the past, I’d have had an immediate reaction to news of the Tempe Police Officers being asked to leave Starbucks, then I’d forget about it. Now, I own a coffee business that supports veterans and first responders. Hell, I am a disabled vet and retired first responder (Lacey PD).

Seriously, when did it come to this? Police Officers are here to keep the peace and make you feel safe. Now, people in this country feel unsafe in their presence. I don’t get it.

As Tempe PD’s site and Facebook has what I think is their motto: Honesty. Integrity. Loyalty. Dedication. When you become sworn in as an officer, it’s not a vow you take lightly, at least I didn’t.

I thank the Officers of the Tempe Police Department for their service. As I thank all first responders and military for their service. Our country, my country, is better for it.
